Donation Guidelines

We are open!
A major mission service effort of the church, the St. Matthias' Thrift Shop provides high-quality goods at affordable prices, which helps those in need and the whole community. We are staffed entirely by volunteers from throughout the community. Each year we have a Volunteer Appreciation Dinner to thank our volunteers.

The Thrift Shop is located at 439 Front Street in Minocqua.  Donations are accepted whenever our doors are open, we are currently limiting donations to three 13-galllon bags.
(Please keep in mind that we close for two weeks each Spring and Fall for cleaning and restocking.) We reserve the right to reject donations that are not appropriate for sale. See donation guidelines at left.

Eighty-five percent of the profits from sales go back to the community and surrounding areas in the form of monetary donations. All non-profit organizations may apply for these donations. A form is available at the Thrift Shop. In 2018 donations totaled $470,675. Ten percent of profits are tithed to St. Matthias Episcopal Church.
