We are looking for someone with a passion for excellence in producing beautiful liturgical music. St. Matthias has a rich history of participating in the music of the Sunday services which enhance their spiritual growth. As a congregation, we love all genres of music and appreciate diversity.

WORSHIP
The organ supports the congregation's participation during worship.
The music coordinates with the liturgical year.
Organist assists the priest in selecting the hymns and liturgical music.
The organ leads the congregation in the sung liturgy.
There is a tradition of a prelude and postlude of the organist’s choosing.
EXPECTATIONS
Present for Sunday services and holidays (Palm Sunday, Easter, Christmas).
First right of refusal to play at all weddings and funerals.
Opportunity to present and/or organize recitals.
Schedule organ and piano tuning.
REQUIREMENTS
Recommendations required.
Training and/or experience as an organist.
Liturgical experience not required.
